US ironically Low-Tech
Can you believe it? US being the most high-tech country in the world and its process of voting is really low-tech. It is comparable to a third world country voting process. It is even worst on some states, inconsistent paper ballots are still being used. On states that are now using the machines there have been a lot of reports that they were not working and so they ended up going back to paper ballots.

The big question is, why is it that the commission on federal elections is not funding these processes to be better. The two huge parties "Democrat and Republican" spends nearly a billion dollars each during the course of the presidential campaign and ironically the end process screws it all up to nothing. I would love to see the commission make these two parties contribute on every thousand spent on their campaign to a fund to better all election related things on both state and federal.
